- What was the most memorable/impressive experience?
- People I've met here and nature. People who live here, friends, teachers are so kind to me. They often hang out with me; I watch movies, visit the house of one of my friends. Some students help my studying a lot. Thanks to them, my English has improved. And there are lots of trees, so wide sky and a big lawn. I was so impressed with them because I couldn't experience them in my city, Tokyo.
-
- What was the most crucial thing in preparation before leaving Japan?
- You have to apply what the university requires before leaving. If you want to do something else, you should study English as much as you can. It will help a lot.
-
- What was your proudest accomplishment during your stay?
- I did my best for the test. For the test, I recorded some lectures, typed and asked questions about classes to the TA. I also asked a friend to help. I spent lots of time on studying for the test.
-
- What skill did you gain the most (academically or socially)?
- Academically: I learned how to write creative essays and how to catch the main points on reading or listening.
Socially: I came to try to ask even if I don't have confidence and I got used to being checked my skills; presentation, writing and speaking. So I know how I should improve my skills easily and I can improve it faster.
-
- What was the biggest hardship you faced?
- Language. I couldn't understand well what people said and I couldn't talk what I wanted to say in detail.
-
- What are you putting your most effort into right now?
- Studying. When I listen to English on talking or classes, I try to focus on the main points.
-
- What are you into now?
- Watching movies with English subtitles, talking with friends, and playing volleyball.
-
- What do you want to try in the rest of your stay?
- I want to do my best on studying and hang out with friends
