  • What is the most crucial thing in preparation before leaving Japan?
If you don't understand the content of classes, it would be hard to catch up with the classes. So, I recommend getting used to listening to English using TED and Youtube. I used to search some academic words related to the area where I study in Australia.
  • What are you putting your most effort into right now?
In this trimester, I'm taking 3 classes whose topics are widely different. It includes sociology, my major at TWCU, globalization and human resources. I've never taken classes of the last two areas at TWCU, so it is hard to catch up with, yet I enjoy them feeling like I can broaden my perspective.
  • What are you into now?
I brought my violin from Japan and recently I joined an orchestra in Gold Coast. The members of the orchestra are very nice and welcoming. I'm so happy because it also brought me the chance to play the violin with a professional quartet.
  • What do you want to try in the rest of your stay?
One of the reasons I chose Griffith University is that I could try an internship in Australia. It needs some procedures to be accepted, so in my last trimester I would like to prepare for it. And, if I have enough time, I would like to try a part-time job as a student visa holder. It has already passed more than a half of my studying abroad, so I want to try everything I can!
