What was the most memorable/impressive experience?

I would say that visiting Yellowknife to see aurora was the most unforgettable memory. Seeing auroras was one of my dreams in my life, so I was very happy to make it come true with my good friend. Fortunately, we were able to see beautiful auroras for three days in a row. I was so moved by the fascinating and spectacle views, and I'll never forget this experience.
What was the most crucial thing in preparation before leaving Japan?

I highly recommend improving speaking and listening skills before going to study abroad so that you can communicate well and make good relationships. When I listened to conversations between native speakers, it was very difficult to follow them because they speak so fast. Sometimes I couldn't understand and join their conversations perfectly. I thought I had good speaking and listening skills but those were not enough. I regretted that I hadn't brushed up these skills.
What was your proudest accomplishment during your stay?

When my short essay in the Anthropology's middle examination was selected as the best answer, I was proud of myself. I'd never taken Anthropology class and UFV classes were way harder than TWCU classes. I spent a lot of time and effort on taking exams, so I was so happy and felt fulfillment when my hard work had paid off. As tips for those who wish to go to study abroad, even if taking classes in other countries is harder than what you imagine, you don't need to be afraid of it because you can get through it if you make efforts and believe yourself!
