  • What was the most memorable experience?
The most memorable thing is an Irish pub. I listened Irish music for the first time when I went there. The music was played by my host family and it was impressive. People in the pub were dancing, singing and smiling with the music. I thought this place was where people feel special. This memory will last forever.
  • What was the biggest hardship you faced?
I think it was communication with my host family. This is because my teacher and my friends were relatively good at understanding nonnative people's pronunciation and expression, but my host family was not used to communicate with nonnative people. On the first week, I thought that asking them to repeat what they had said again and again was a bad thing even when I didn't understand them. However, a week later I noticed that understanding what my host family said was the most important thing to keep a good relationship.
  • What are you putting your most effort into right now?
As I explained in the second question, my listening skill was not good enough. After I came back to Japan, I started taking online English conversation lessons. I would like to keep practicing my English skills.
