- What was your proudest accomplishment during your stay?
- The accomplishment I am most proud of is passing my exams. I took two classes; one was linguistics and the other was East Asian Studies. They are both academic classes. I felt they were very hard because the classes were held in English. My English was not enough, so I studied really hard. Finally, I passed the exams. I was so happy.

- What was the biggest hardship you faced?
- When I arrived at the Edmonton Airport on my first day, I really didn't know how to get to my university. I had to ask people, and that was the first hardship for me. I remember feeling nervous.

- What are you putting your most effort into right now?
- I am trying to keep improving my English. Since my stay in Canada ended, I think I am losing my English ability. I want to get a good score on the TOEIC. My friend who lives in Canada is going to come to Japan next fall. When we can meet, I don't want her to think my English goes bad.
