  • What skill did you gain the most (academically or socially)?
Through the experience of my study abroad, my viewpoint has been expanded. I have met people who work in various fields in various countries. They brought me new ideas and perspectives. I always encourage myself saying, "There must be much more I can do than I do now!" Now, I have a lot of things I want to try.
  • What was the biggest hardship you faced?
The biggest hardship I have faced so far is communication using my non-native language, Japanese. I was not a talkative type and I often worried if people understood me. To overcome this problem, I actively participated in international events and practiced speaking repeatedly. I have more confidence in communication now.
  • What are you putting your most effort into right now?
I'm hoping to acquire both Japanese and English language skills. I want to be a fluent speaker in both languages and make friends in Japan and other countries to see the world. Also, I want to learn beauty of Japan. Lately, I have come to be interested in the style of tea ceremony of Urasenke and traditional Japanese colors. With confidence in me, I hope to fully enjoy my college life in Japan.
