- What was your most memorable/impressive experience?
- Performing the traditional Soran-Bushi dance at the International Festival on campus was the most impressive to me. It was a really great experience. Practicing and making costumes were kind of hard work, but in the end it was all worth it. A lot of people came to watch and enjoyed our performance. I felt like more people became interested in Japanese culture because of our dance.

- What was the most crucial thing in preparation before leaving Japan?
- It is important to prepare for talking about Japanese culture and my own daily life in English. Questions like "What is your own country/university like?" often come up during conversations with friends and during class, and I wanted to be able to speak about these topics confidently in order to make friends.

- What was your proudest accomplishment during your stay?
- During my study abroad, I've done a lot of presentations. I haven't had many opportunities to do so in Japan, and I didn't have confidence in my skills. Little by little, I've become better and able to do a decent presentation. I even got compliments on my last presentation from my teachers and friends.
