  • What was your proudest accomplishment during your stay?
Before I went to study abroad I was not sure I could speak Korean, but now it is getting more fun to speak Korean because I made Korean friends and gradually became able to listen to Korean. I can say what I want to say. Of course there were lots of difficult things, but I feel a sense of accomplishment by becoming able to communicate with Korean people.
  • What skill did you gain the most (academically or socially)?
Through this study abroad I got the ability to do anything all by myself. I came to Korea for the first time; I left my parents for the first time... so I had to do everything by myself, for example, applying to insurance, opening a bank account, paying dormitory fees, and many other applications. I think that these experiences gave me skills necessary for my future. From now on, I want to challenge various things without fear of failure.
  • What is the biggest thing you wish you would have done during the stay?
I regret now that I didn't do after school activities much. I think I could have had a more enjoyable study abroad life if I found hobbies, made friends and expanded a field of activity there. I wish I had more experiences such as sports and making traditional food like Kimchi. I think that I should have done something I cannot do in Japan.
