Entrance Examinations for International Students

Applicants for Undergraduate programs and Master's programs are required to take the entrance examinations for international students. Applicants for Doctor's programs are required to take the same examinations as domestic applicants.

Undergraduate

Admission Policy

TWCU is looking for women who sympathize with the educational principle of the university, and who are highly motivated to take actions upon their own initiative. TWCU is open for any women at any age who have a purpose in life regardless of their previous career or background.

Overview

TWCU's Entrance Examinations for international students (full-time regular international students) are required for those who wish to enroll in the School of Arts and Sciences at Tokyo Woman's Christian University.
These examinations are different from the exams for domestic students; however, once international students enroll in the university their status will be the same as those who passed the exams for domestic students. Most of the lectures in TWCU are taught in Japanese language. International students must have adequate ability in Japanese language.

Each department accepts a few international students every year.

Year to be enrolled in

International students who pass the entrance examination are admitted as first-year students.
