The reception of Japanese literature in Anglophone poetry

My research interests lie primarily in comparative literature, especially the relationships between English and Japanese literature.

I was awarded the Ezra Pound Society Article Prize in 2014 for my article on 'Ezra Pound's Early Cantos and His Translation of Takasago' and in 2021 my academic monograph, Ezra Pound's Japan, was published with Bloomsbury.
